Please join us as we discover the many manifestations and skillful means of Guru Padmasambhava and his last teaching before leaving Tibet.

The Seven Chapters were requested by Padmasambhava’s close circle of five disciples: Trisong Deutsen, Yeshe Tsogyal, Namkhai Nyingpo, Nanam Dorje Dudjom, and Prince Mutri Tsenpo. They deal with aspects of the great guru: lineage, life and activities, celestial realm, practices on the path, and actions the guru can take on our behalf. The entire path from foundation to the great perfection are part of these prayers.
For people who do not like visualization, these prayers, individually or together, can be used as a complete practice.

These prayers were given by Zangpo Drakpa, himself the rebirth of Trison Deutsen’s crown prince, to Rigdzin Godem who then used them as the key to reveal the teachings known as the Northern Treasure (byang gter). Today they are recited daily in many monasteries and especially at the Nyingma Monlam. These prayers are rarely chanted and even more rarely taught in this country.

Lama Lakshey Zangpo Rinpoche began his training as a spiritual master in Tibet, receiving the complete Khatok lineage empowerments and transmissions from Khatok Moktsa Rinpoche. At fifteen, he entered Larung Chokyi Drongkyer where he studied with Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, and many other sublime teachers.

Michael Burroughs is a knowledgeable and articulate teacher. As one of the first western students of the great Tibetan lamas Penor Rinpoche, Gangteng Rinpoche of Bhutan, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, and Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, he brings a uncommon and vast array of understanding in a competent, yet humorous way.
Prophecies Series

GESAR
Practices to Avert War & Generate Peace
On-going — In person
WEDNESDAYS. 5-6 pm

These practices are to prevent apocalyptic catastrophes as prophesied in sutra and tantra and create a spirit of peace and abundance conducive to spiritual practice and realization.
We also focus on Gesar practices to bring abundance, raise merit and lung ta or windhorse (klung rta). Mipham wrote many prayers and practices which help with our every day lives as well as social well-being and environmental restoration. Mipham's works are treasures (gter) from the enlightened intention of Padmasambhava and Manjushri. They are so highly regarded because they encompass the full range of Buddhist practice from the foundation to practices of the great perfection.
